1. Naked Scientists workshop (students only)

2. ALKATRAS meeting (in cooperation with ERIA)

The third ALKATRAS meeting is preceded by a workshop for students with the Naked Scientists (www.thenakedscientists.com) at which they will develop podcasts, learn to present their research to a variety of audiences and general technologies in the presentation of science to the public. In cooperation with the 8th annual meeting of ERIA, ALKATRAS will hold a conference on the 28-29 September at which World-leaders in the field will present their work including Tom Look, Megan Lim and Mariusz Wasik. All students will present their work in the form of a poster with assessment of the work performed by the Scientific Advisory Board. This meeting will also constitute the mid-term review of the ALKATRAS network.
